Yoga Therapy & Ayurvedic Wellness in Perth & Fremantle

Utilising the techniques of evidence based Medical Meditations and Therapeutic Yoga can help with the reduction of unwanted symptoms. Increase feelings of self empowerment, self efficacy and acceptance.

Therapeutic Yoga places us in the body where we can observe and notice with curiosity - from here we have choices in how to respond.

Therapeutic Yoga offers us an opportunity to reconnect to traumatic experiences and feel into them by very slowly feeling into the body over time knowing that in the present moment we are safe.

As we practice, we relax the body and the mind eventually follows. Vagal tone and self regulation begin to improve and we can experience our original self in small moments.

In Therapeutic Yoga practices we are merging the Ancient Technologies with Neuroscience and Western Psychology to affect our systems and restore or regain strength and resiliency.

The approach is that a little bit goes a long way and we simply start where we are at – we don’t ask ourselves to meet the yoga - we ask the yoga to meet us.

Whether you are working with me privately or in a small group space, it is not necessary for you to have any experience in yoga or meditation.

Ayurvedic Wellness

Ayurveda, the sister science to Yoga is known as the science of longevity or the science of life.

Ayurveda is an ancient system of healthcare and medicine practiced for thousands of years.

Ayurveda teaches us that our health and wellness are based upon balance in our mind, body and consciousness.

Disease states are mainly due to imbalances or stresses in these systems.

Ayurvedic living is about living in a way that keeps us in balance with nature.

We are not separate from nature – we are part of it.

We are made up from the very same fabric as the world around us.

Ayurvedic living is primarily focused on disease prevention by understanding what keeps us balanced. If we go out of feeling balanced Ayurveda shows us what can help us to access that equilibrium again.

Ayurveda helps us to understand what proper food, proper sleep and proper management of our energy looks like for our unique mind body type.

Bringing some small, sustainable self care techniques into our day as we move throughout the world can be such a support in removing impurities, increasing immunity, reducing symptoms, worry and disease.

Ayurvedic Wellness is a beautiful way to connect with yourself and bring increased harmony into your life.

Ayurvedic Health advice can be offered if it is relevant in our sessions or if you are curious to know how it can support you.
